Pembrey: Latest RacingPeter Guide

Corner Names for the National configuration

My latest circuit guide is now complete, with pages available for both National and Clubmans configurations of Pembrey circuit.

Pembrey National

This set of pages was originally created as a repository for everything that I need on arrival to each of the circuits. They have expanded, and continue to expand, to cover all aspects of the circuit, not just for competitors, but spectators and any other type of visitor.

My latest additions to the available information are the latitude and longitude coordinates, along with What3Words keywords, for both the entrance and the paddock. Just for a bit of fun, I try and find a What3Words location with at least one word having motorsport connotations; in this case I found both winners and spun.

Marshal Posts for the Clubmans configuration

Another addition is to do away with satellite maps completely, meaning that I have more diagrams to produce, but I am happy with that. The alternative would be to purchase a drone, which is beyond my current budget.

I have been unable to get to Pembrey to take fresh photographs, so I have to stick with those I already took many years ago when creating my TrackTeach guide. Maybe I’ll get round to resurrecting those guides in the future, but not until I complete current my project.

Included in the guide are details of marshal posts, spectating points, race locations (everywhere a driver needs to take themselves and their car over a race weekend) and much more.

There are still some details to add as the information is gathered, such as recycling and electricity availability, which will be included over the coming months once available.
