Knockhill: Latest RacingPeter Guide

Visit the Guide for Knockhill

My latest circuit guide is now complete, for the Knockhill circuit.

This set of pages was originally created as a repository for everything that I need on arrival to each of the circuits. They have expanded, and continue to expand, to cover all aspects of the circuit, not just for competitors, but spectators and any other type of visitor.

Getting There

The Getting There page assumes that all visitors have some sort of satnav and so just concentrate on the last few miles, as these can be a little awkward. It also includes a map guiding the visitor from the entrance to the paddock.

The page contain coordinates that includes What3Words; I have managed to find a couple of humorous and, in one case, slightly naughty addresses. The paddock words found describe a a technical part of race setup, an alternative name for our race cars and a cheeky staple diet of the drivers.

Competitors and Spectators

Once in the paddock, there are separate guides for competitors and spectators. The competitor’s guide indicates the location of specific information such as the location and layout off the Assembly Area, Race Control and Starting Grid. The spectators page includes viewing points around the circuit.

Marshal Posts

Identifying Marshal Post positions is important and so a detailed page is provided, which will be further updated following my next visit.

Summary

Much more information is provided, so explore and enjoy.
